My name is David Mannino and I’ve taught English as a foreign language for five years. As a teacher in the Center of Modern Foreign Languages, I hold a weekly English club for UCU students. It;s advertised around campus so students can sign up and attend as they can. Each week we have a casual discussion of a different topic to improve student’s proficiency with spoken English. Sometimes we have group activities for short comedic presentations.
A few things about myself: I enjoy walking around in Lviv and trying out new coffee shops. I like to travel in the Carpathians and hike through villages in the countryside. I’m originally from Texas, but I think it is safe to say I’ve seen more of Ukraine than Texas!
