Glory to Jesus Christ!
Greetings, our dear friends!
Greetings from fighting Ukraine!
First of all, we’d like to start this letter with words of gratitude for everything you’re doing and have already done for us and our country: for your letters of support, constant donations, and, without a doubt, persistent prayers.
Each of us is doing our best here and abroad, and we know and believe that very soon, we’ll enjoy the victory together.
Despite all the challenges and hardships, we continue to hold the educational front line. We had a successful entrance campaign; moreover, our students attend classes in person. Of course, sometimes, when hearing an air alarm, we’re forced to rush to our shelters, but it doesn’t stop us from studying and maintaining a fighting spirit. We believe in our bright future and do everything to develop our intelligent young students.
For this reason, we’ve decided not to cancel English Summer School 2023, but if the situation is safe enough for everyone to organize it in person (June 19 – July 2). We can assure you that the place is peaceful and safe, surrounded by sweet-scented pines. Our students are eager to study and expand their horizons on various topics, and, what’s more, they will definitely share their personal stories with you. They come from different parts of Ukraine, so you’ll get a unique chance to learn about not just the western part of Ukraine but the whole country and its cultural peculiarities and differences.
Therefore, we’re giving a call to ESS 2023 volunteers. We’d be extremely grateful to hear your thoughts about it. Please, feel free to email me at any time convenient to you.
We will definitely provide you with further detailed information.
